TRI Hair Course 2024 Goes Hybrid

The TRI ‘Fundamentals of Hair Science & Hair Claims Course’ will take place on April 24th, 25th and 26th. As usual, all the course lectures will be available to attendees around the world on-line and on playback. This year we are pleased to announce that we are bringing back the opportunity for attendees to visit our site and to take part in live demos of the tests being covered in the lectures.

The TRI hair course is an introductory course designed for graduate and post-graduate level cosmetic scientists who need to build their knowledge in hair science and claims substantiation.

Attendees should leave with an understanding of hair structure and biology, hair product science and the key measurement techniques used to test the performance of hair products and support hair claims.

All the course is given on-line and is available to attendees all around the world. Last year we had over 100 attendees, some joining us from as far away as South Africa, Australia and the Philippines.

However, now we are past the worst of the COVID pandemic, we can open our doors to visitors for one day of the course. Attendees based in the US, or wanting to travel to US, will be able to visit the TRI laboratories on Friday 26th April. Visitors can view Day 3 of the lectures in the morning in our Seminar Room on a big screen (i.e. as a hybrid meeting), have a lunch with the speakers, and then have live demos of hair testing methods in the afternoon. There is no extra charge for the laboratory visit, but please make us aware that you wish to attend when you complete your registration. For safety reasons, places must be limited to 25 external attendees. It will be first come, first served.

Pass Certificates will be available at the end of the course for attendees who pass an on-line, self assessment test. Attendance Certificates will be available to all attendees.

Registration costs $250. 10% Early-Bird discounts will apply until the end of February. Further, discounts are also available for groups and TRI Member Companies. To register for the course click here.
