Hair Conference 2024: An ‘Outstanding’ & ‘Inspiring’ Event

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the hair conference earlier this month. Feedback has been universally positive, with people describing the event as ‘outstanding’ and ‘Inspiring’. Here are some photos of the event to bring back good memories.

The 11th International Conference on Applied Hair Science took place on 12th and 13th June in Red Bank, NJ. This year was a hybrid event, with people attending in-person, and online. If you registered, you can still stream all the presentations again by logging in to the conference website. Attendees can also download PDF versions of all the posters. The conference site is now closed to new registrations and will stay open to registered attendees until September. After this all the posters and presentations will be migrated to the TRI Library in October/November as a box-set.

The event this year attracted 445 attendees, roughly 100 of whom attended the live event. Attendees watched 23 podium presentations and viewed 20 posters. Most of the presenters were at Red Bank, but the hybrid format allowed us to hear talks from speakers as far away as Hong Kong and New Zeeland.

Feedback from attendees has been very positive. Here are some comments we have received through the feedback survey, social media and emails:

“Wide range of topics, knowledgeable speakers”

“Inspiring (presentations)”

“Great conference”

“Outstanding event”

“Programme was very well put together”
