A Very Successful Skin Course

The Principles of Skin Measurement & Claims course took place on September 11th and 12th, and attracted 85 attendees, 15 of whom attended the event live at TRI, and took part in the live demos of various test methods.  The presentations are still available to stream by attendees on the Attendee Hub for another three months.  Click here to log in to the course site.

Participants in TRI Princeton, and around the globe via Zoom, gained valuable insights into cutting-edge skin measurement techniques, and cosmetic claims validation.  Expert-led sessions featured insightful presentations from industry leaders including Marcella Gabarra A. Leite, Paul Cornwell, Samuel Gourion-Arsiquaud (Ph.D.) (TRI Princeton), and Gary Groves (CyberDERM Inc., USA), Matthieu Jomier (QIMA Monasterium GmbH, France), Elodie Gras Lavigne (Neuron Experts, France), and Lori Cioerta (Biox Systems Ltd, UK). 



On Day 2 attendees witnessed live demos of:

  • Moisture testing using the Biox Systems EpsilonTM and AquaFlux AF200TM 

  • Clinical skin assessment with various Courage & Khazaka and Cortex instruments demonstrated by CyberDERM Inc., USA

  • Spectroscopic measurements using various FTIR instruments available at TRI Princeton

  • Skin imaging technologies QIMA Life Sciences instruments available at TRI Princeton
